#505 FC Ultra is ideal for fine finishes on cars, trucks, and big rigs. Works as a wash or pre-soak on painted surfaces, aluminum, stainless steel, metal, tires, engines, glass, and polished aluminum.

Vehicles acquire static electricity as they move through the air.  This electrically holds a film of dirt to the surface of the vehicle.  The #505 soap is designed to help break this static barrier.  Even using this chemical, brushing the vehicle may be necessary for complete surface cleaning.
