GeoRipperĀ® Tips
When starting, users have a tendency to go full throttle. As you get used to it, lighten up and try to keep the throttle between 1/2 - 3/4.
If you are starting in hard soil, loosen up the soil a little with the tip. Once the trench has started, keep the digging bar and chain in the trench.
You don't need all your weight pushed into the machine. The machine is nose-heavy. The trencher should do the work, not the operator's back.
GeoRipper trenchers come with two chains. The first chain is your learning curve chain that you will rip through. The second chain will give you an idea of the life of the chain.Ā
